Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for servers, networks, cloud services, virtualization, security, backups, and overall IT system availability. The role also involves leading infrastructure projects, troubleshooting critical issues, and supporting the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
Configure and manage LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
Support cloud environments like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Monitor server and network performance and resolve technical issues.
Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Implement security best practices, including firewall, antivirus, VPN, and endpoint protection.
Install, configure, and upgrade IT infrastructure hardware and software.
Work with vendors for procurement, warranty, and technical support.
Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and network diagrams.
Lead infrastructure projects and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching, VPN).
Experience with virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS.
Experience managing firewalls and network security.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Administration.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, VMware, Azure, or AWS are an added advantage.
